I feel like I’m entering the next phase of my life and I’m excited for it, rather than feeling caught in a repeating cycle.

I sought coaching because I felt like I was either constantly hitting a brick wall and falling over, or sinking in mud and suffocating. I was having issues both personally and professionally and it all seemed to overlap with my sense of self.

Lauren was able to get me unstuck in multiple ways, guiding me through various exercises that lightened the burden and also gave me clarity on what I wanted out of life. I trusted her throughout the process and she always showed up to help me through whatever difficulty I was facing.

I feel lighter with a better sense of the direction I want to go in. I have more methods to deal with issues as they arise and not get stuck in the mud longer than I really need to be. I feel like I’m entering the next phase of my life and I’m excited for it, rather than feeling caught in a repeating cycle.

I truly found the experience life changing and invaluable.

When I started coaching, I was facing challenges with my career and my mindset on it. I honestly did not think there were challenges that I was facing outside of that, but coaching helped me discover aspects of my life I could be improving upon that would bring me happiness in doing so.

In coaching, I learned how to cope with stress that I was experiencing with work, acknowledging the negative Nancy in me, my feelings of guilt, how to deal with imposter syndrome, and the values I find most important.

I didn’t know what to expect when I decided to go through the coaching experience, but it has been amazing. It has been eye opening to really discover more about myself. I truly found the experience life changing and invaluable.

Lauren’s coaching style is encouraging, empowering, and supportive. If you’re considering coaching with her, do it. I guarantee you’ll discover something about yourself that you didn’t know before going through this. Lauren is an amazing coach and it’ll be a great experience if you’re open to it and embrace it.

I'm not trying to become someone different, but instead embodying more confidence in my own decisions.

I began coaching concerned about burnout and incorporating myself in management discussions without feeling severe pangs of the imposter syndrome. There was a definite sense I was searching for what I thought I was lacking.

After 6 months of coaching, I’m not trying to become someone different, but instead embodying more confidence in my own decisions. It’s also allowing me to more authentically communicate with co-workers and feel less imposter syndrome. I don’t feel I’m delivering work that isn’t my own (i.e. my ideas, not the ideas I think my boss would want me to have). Coaching has given me a boost in positivity and optimism in my day-to-day work as well as developing more personal strengths versus focusing on perceived negative traits.

Lauren’s style is open in a no-judgement manner. She’s highly attuned to the individual’s word choice and deciphering hidden or unsurfaced perceptions that might be limiting personal growth.

Coaching provides a huge value in adding perspective. If you approach it with a really open and honest discussion, you’ll find a deeper shift in your daily mindset, both in work and life.

I have less self-blame and more confidence.

I was in a very lost place when I started coaching with Lauren. Through coaching, I developed a way to gain clarity, whether it is past experiences blocking my focus or not holding onto negative opinions of my capabilities and abilities. I’m learning to trust the process, in coaching and in the other aspects of life. I have less self-blame and more confidence. I’m accepting the many sides of myself and knowing that sometimes they may be in conflict. Knowing when to use my strengths to bring some balance to it all… and not seeing my weaknesses as weaknesses, but rather reframing to see them as opportunities for improvement and learning. In short, my coaching experience with Lauren has been SUPER AMAZING!

I felt like Lauren was the perfect guide for my life coach journey.

I was drawn to coaching because I was at a crossroads in my life and wanting to discover pieces of myself to breathe in (cultivate) and exhale (to spread to others). I have an increased awareness of my own value, the value of others, and can shut down my saboteurs.

I loved when Lauren was able to sense feelings and ideas. Aha moments arose from visualizations, meditation, and also lots of laughs and humor. Lauren’s style is intuitive, gentle and flowing. She has a very natural way of listening and responding that makes people feel safe and cared for.

I felt like Lauren was the perfect guide for my life coach journey.

Shifts in how I breathe, the kind of mental chatter I allow, and values I stand by have all changed for the better.

When I started coaching with Lauren, I was at a point in my life in which change was imminent and quickly approaching me. Working with Lauren over 5 months has resulted in subtle, yet powerful changes. Shifts in how I breathe, the kind of mental chatter I allow, and values I stand by have all changed for the better. Lauren has an arsenal of exercises and questions that are simple in nature, but also, take your breath away.

As soon as I clarified my intention, a dream opportunity came my way.

After feeling stuck with how to move forward in my job search, Lauren helped me get clear on exactly what I was looking for in my next role. As soon as I clarified my intention, a dream opportunity came my way. It was an easy yes because I’d spent the time with her to clarify what sort of work would light me up. Lauren is kind and insightful, and I recommend anyone looking to find meaningful alignment in their careers work with her!

6 week program: Healing from Imposter Syndrome

The Overcoming Imposter Syndrome program was transformational. I learned valuable tools and techniques to challenge and work through my imposter syndrome and gained a whole new level of confidence and ease. Lauren created a safe container for all of us to share, be vulnerable, and to show up authentically. Her wisdom, insight, and organization of the materials were well done and made each session unique, meaningful, and helpful. I’m already experiencing lasting changes thanks to Lauren and this program!
— Zack W.B.
When I started the Overcoming Imposter Syndrome group program, I was unsure of the future and that made me fearful. I doubted whether I was able to succeed at my new role. Over the course of the workshop, I have been able to identify when I have unrealistic and illogical thoughts about myself and shift those thoughts to a realistic and balanced point of view. I can better recognize my inner wisdom and that has made me more confident.
— Baryo D.
Lauren really facilitated a comfortable and safe space that encouraged vulnerable shares. This is no easy task to do with a group of strangers meeting over a short 6 weeks, but she accomplished this with grace and ease from the very beginning. I would definitely recommend this course as a warm and welcoming introductory space to considering the ways in which imposter syndrome affects so many of us, both personally and professionally.
— Maryliz V.
This program, like any truly good internal work, was not a night and day revelation on understanding imposter syndrome, but a consistent, illuminating experience that made me realize that I was not alone in my struggles, and that there were real, small incremental practices and points of view I could adopt to help me better navigate the difficulty of feeling imposter syndrome. I recommend it to any one looking for an honest, vulnerable and collectively positive experience.

Group Workshops

90min workshop: Healing from Imposter Syndrome

Through her grounding, compassionate presence, Lauren succeeded in creating a space for vulnerable conversation about a topic that can sometimes feel shameful. I left our brief session with tools I can use to manage impostor syndrome in the moment and ideas for how to create a future in which it shows up less often.
— Julia G.
We should all participate in a session like this if only to realize you’re going through a common experience with so many others. A great session to participate actively in reflection and visualization exercises, understand your own self-protection drive, and practice vulnerability in a supporting and encouraging environment.
— Tory H.
Lauren approaches coaching with a lot of warmth and compassion. The framework she shared for working with impostor syndrome is relevant for any difficult challenge or feeling a person might be going through.
— Amy H.
Lauren is a well-spoken, articulate presenter who leads with empathy, patience, and sensitivity. Talking about the things that makes us feel vulnerable isn’t easy, but Lauren puts you at ease and provides a safe space where you can open up without judgment.
— Suzanna S.
Lauren’s workshop on imposter syndrome was helpful and insightful. She created a safe container for us to share and provided clear steps to work through imposter thoughts that may arise in the moment and practices to build a foundation of awareness, support, and self-love.
